With 99% of shareholders to say "yes" to the resolutions made today at the General Meeting of the Bank of Cyprus, that sealed the entrance of the bank at the London Stock Exchange.
The adoption of resolutions will bring changes in the ownership structure of the Bank, through the exchange of existing shares to new shares in the proposed holding company, the Bank of Cyprus Holdings Public Limited Company.
Earlier, Chairman of the Board of Bank of Cyprus, Mr. Joseph Ackerman called on the Bank's shareholders to approve two resolutions, in order to complete the final important step in the introduction of the Bank's shares on the London Stock Exchange.
