Direct flights from Shanghai to Athens
At the initiative of a Chinese travel agency – Tourists will then have the option to travel to Santorini and Mykonos.
Another “gateway” for Greek tourism opens on June 15 with the launch of the first direct flight from Shanghai to Athens.
One flight will operate per week until 19 October 2014 at the initiative of Shanghai Workers International Travel Service, a leading tour operator in China.
Group visitors can participate in travel packages that include stops in Santorini and Mykonos,
the two most prestigious islands in Greece, Santorini, and Mykonos, voted by the international tourism organizations as the most famous islands in the worlds. Now is easier than ever for Chinese tourists to visit these islands. Especially Santorini, locals claim that now, many Chinese visit Santorini also during the winter.
